Hyperinflation can significantly distort the financial information presented by entities. When prices rise rapidly and unpredictably, historical cost figures lose their relevance, and financial statements may no longer reflect economic reality. In such environments, GRAP 10 becomes essential.

This course provides a practical and structured approach to applying GRAP 10 when an entity’s functional currency is that of a hyperinflationary economy. You will explore how to restate financial statements to reflect the measuring unit current at the reporting date, and how to calculate and present the gain or loss on the net monetary position.
